The Reconciliation of All Things

Hey! We forgot to tell you that Noah has been off his monitor for almost a month now! Praise the Lord! Thank you for all your prayers for him--we believe God is healing him from his reflux. We continue to ask for your prayers in raising him to be a godly young man. Praise our God! --Ben & Becky.

 

Here Ben is redoing about 12 feet of our flooring--it was rotten! The floor, that is, the only rotten part about the work was when we had to put the insulation in! ARGH! Oh, then I (Ben) accidentally kicked the pipe that brings water to the house. So we went last night without water--since Lowe's closes after 9pm when I finished all this work. All in all, that was the only mess-up! Pretty good for a first-timer!  

 

Dear friends, This June, I (Ben) have the opportunity to go to Portugal for a short-term missions trip. What will I be doing? Along with 13 other adults and 5 teenagers from our church, we will be: · Painting at a retreat center for Dan Mosely, who is an American TEAM missionary in Portugal ; · Doing landscaping/maintenance work at the center; · Spending time developing relationships with the local Portuguese every afternoon/evening. I have been put in charge of teaching basic Portuguese to our group and will be preaching the Sunday we are there in Portugal . The dates of the trips are from June 19 th to July 1 st , so I won’t be gone from Becky and Noah for too long. Would you commit to praying for this trip and all the people involved? Please take a minute right now to pray that all the work done will bring glory to God and be a witness to the Portuguese we interact with. Pray also that Becky and Noah will be safe while I am away ....
